Cebu Air Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (CAEMC) is a cooperative owned by regular employees of the Cebu Pacific Air. It was founded by 22 regular employees with an initial capitalization of Php44,000.00. CAEMC received its Certificate of Registration from the Cooperative Development Authority of the Philippines last March 31, 2000 as an institutional based cooperative. Operations were professionalized and its programs and services were implemented to cater the needs of the members. To date, CAEMC members were figured at 2,559 while its net worth was recorded at Php300M.

Cebu Air Employees Multipurpose Cooperative (CAEMC) is focused in uplifting the quality of life of its members through cooperative programs, it has the most competitive rates of savings and investments and affordable loan packages. CAEMC extends credit to aid and support the financial needs of every member in order to strengthen their financial well-being and foster economic development. CAEMC also promotes savings and investments to assist members in attaining financial stability. Carried out by a team of highly committed professional individuals ensuring quality and excellent service to all its members.

To God be the glory, this is how I would like to welcome you all today as we celebrate our 22nd year. We as a cooperative have gone thru a lot this past two years. In this line, proactive measures have to be adapted to best serve our members needs and interest. Risk management protocols have been redefined to appropriately respond to the threat of pandemic. But thanks to all of you, your continued support and trust has steadily propelled our cooperative to our pre pandemic financial figures. Tonight we are proud to report our achievements as a cooperative. 1 able to withstand the peak of the pandemic, external AUDITOR’s findings from last month’s audit were very positive on all areas of operation 2 We are able to extend Medical assistance to “X” of our members 3 Loan reprieve programs were implemented 4 MRS to “X” members and family were facilitated 5 Saint Peter’s services are made available at cost to member who wish to avail Rest assured though that we will continue to implement programs that will improve every member’s financial condition. At this point allow me to break good news. We are now in the process of building a new CAEMC office, a place for new opportunities. With this new business endeavor CAEMC as a multi-purpose cooperative will be able exercise its accreditation to the fullest. On behalf of the BODs, the management and staff I would like to take this opportunity to again thank everyone who we’re with us especially during those most trying times and believing that together we will prevail. “Evolving Services; Meeting up with new challenges for a broader mission.” Remain strong and steadfast! This was our parting words from last year’s message to all members. Today and in line with the 22nd anniversary celebration, we have kept our promise ever strong, steadfast and bolder for a broader mission; these rally points are the catalyst for our evolving services being offered to everyone. CAEMC rose up to the challenges from its experience brought about by the pandemic; it has redefined its risk management protocols to be able to maintain its mandate and keep the trust of its members. Through the collective effort of the Board of Directors, our status as a Large Category Cooperative were recognized by virtue of the Audit Findings over all assessment defining our CAEMC as more stable, efficiently managed, more profitable and most of its assets were productively utilized. We are proud to report to those revenues gained were significantly higher comparing from last year. As to our Annual Audit Review; figure shows that we have gained along the areas of financial management and risk control thereby giving us a performance rating of 82.2% against last year’s 79%. We are taking bolder steps towards expanding our services, reaching out to would be coop partner members. We are also in the process of building a new venue for the Coop where we can rightfully consider our “new home”; a place where we can meet up, plan things out for a broader reach. Lastly, allow us to take this opportunity to congratulate the members who were with us during the trying times; the efforts of the management and staff who steered us through turbulent times and by the grace of the Almighty who gave profound guidance and wisdom to all concerned.
